I started my dream in the BMC with the Evil texture. No Giant Baby.
Went to the Endless Corridor by touching the sky picture, which in this case, is a wall of fluctuating rainbow computer glitch. When i got to the corridor, there was a fluorescent-like texture on it. Is it normal or is it a new texture? can't upload pics, btw, i'm on my iPad. Don't have Wikia app.
Every place has 4 textures. That one maybe is a glitch (playing the game without saving ingame but saving with the emulator feature, so the game thinks you played without stopping) of the game trying to use a texture but wrongly using one of other place instead.
Maybe is a feature of the game start to mix textures but almost always is because playing too much without saving or an error of the emulator itself. Hard to tell without a real copy to test if this switching textures happens.
I didn't use emulator saving, So this is really confusing, lol the white pavement-texture was the sand, the kyoto building window texture was the grass. And I have read the texture stuff and all, I have played 4 years ago LSD: DE for about 140 in-game days, and I know much, so much about this game :). And here's another pic:
Maybe just an emulator error? (just one variable that choose the textures fails and "ohh shit") Try with a different emulator (but maybe it just corrupted the savefile so, changing the emu will not have effect). The most accurate way to play the game to the original that I have seen is using the psp or the ps3 (no glitch, water looks normal...). But even those have fails with some games I played.
I checked again the folder textures of Natural World an there is nothing like that, it's taking the ones of the folder of Kyoto.
Again, perhaps it's part of the original game but without a psx and the original it's hard to tell.
I thought we were pretty positive that thsi is caused by using an emulators save function, not the games. Over long periods of time the game probably runs into huge amounts of errors relation to the system memory, and that causes the game to freak out, and just pick a texture set/file at random(then again, it could be the same every time, I haven't seen enough glitch textures to see if they're all the same in the same place). But since you said you didn't use it, I'd just assume the game glitched out, it loaded the wrong/right level, but the wrong/right textures. Do you have a picture of the chart position you started that dream at? (I know, fat chance, but you never know).
Try using the games save function, and then shutting the emulator down.
Also what Alundratix says is correct, the PSP/PS3 versions of the game are best, as they don't glitch out. (However the do freeze so often for me, that it's basically unplayable).
Hm, I prolly can share the save file, what emulator do you use? I use pSX (btw the emu's exe name is psxfin?) But even if you'd use epsxe shouldn't it be possible to convert the sstates compatible with some program from zophar? Also could this phenomenon be worthy to be added to the Textures-article? And this happened after the bug in the Natural World, that dream ended soon after the bug and it's an interesting fact that when this bug happens to me, the dream ends very soon...And I've visited this bugged BMC two times in a row!

I took more screenshots of this happening and can post more
Alright, 75.155, he said he didn't use the emulator save function, so I'm going to assume he saves the game, and turns off the emulator. So it doesn't fit in the normal realm of the glitch texture (which is playing the game too long in one sitting (ie using the emulator save funtion, which basically 'screen shots' the whole system code, and then loads that again, so the game never really stops.)
Rather interesting is that the dreams stop when it glitches, as in this case of mine...It's like the devs would have anticipated that the game may because of the complex coding, glitch. Then make a feature that the game searches for some general signs that the game's glitching (spotting changes in the written code?!!) and then ending the dream to make sure the game disc doesn't decide to terminate itself and burn down your house :D
