The Moonlight Tower is an area within the dreamscape that players can spawn in at the start of a dream or link to. The Moonlight Tower has many flights of stairs leading to a balcony. There is always a full moon a few feet away from the tower.
The Moonlight Tower influences in-game timer in some way, making the dream very short. This happens only when the dream starts here, and reasons for this are still unknown. If linked from any other location, the timer won't be affected. You can stretch out the amount of time you have in dreams that start at Moonlight Tower through frequent linking.
Bumping into the railing at the top will cause a normal Dynamic Link, and so will the walls indoors.
In Kyoto, the Moonlight Tower is visible among the buildings. The walls of the tower will link the player inside. These walls and the Bunny are the only two links to Moonlight Tower.
Minotaur[]
Occasionally, the Winged Minotaur spawns, flying around the tower. It's impossible to reach the creature in this state, but it sometimes spawns in front of the player while they're exploring the balcony. This gives an opportunity to link with the Minotaur, transporting the player to the Black Space.
Trivia[]
- The red text on the walls of the inside of the tower with kanji/logic textures read "風林火山", meaning "As swift as wind, as quiet as the forest, as daring as fire, and as immovable as a mountain", which comes from Sun Tzu's The Art of War.
