The Pit & Temple is a small walled-off area that mostly consists of grassland and rocky pathways. In the middle, there is a large square pit which can be used to end the dream immediately by falling into it. This pit is where a Flying Elephant may float away into the sky above.
There are two exits from this location: the plainer-looking exit leads to The Natural World, and the "temple" (with three faces on the top) leads to the Flesh Tunnels. Though there is not much at this location, the Pit & Temple is very useful for providing quick access to other areas, and the pit itself allows for the option to quickly end the dream.
The Pit & Temple is one of the main locations displayed on the Map.
Trivia[]
- With the kanji textures, the ground reads 扉, which means "door" or "opening".
- The Machine translator is most likely to translate the original Kanji title of Pit & Temple to just "temple". This is a mistranslation.
Technical/Hacking Trivia[]
- Community and hackers have discovered, that the floor contains some sort of "patterns" to it of perhaps "CDEFGAB".
- One of this area's music patterns (D) contains a rough representation of the melody from "Come On And" from LSD & Remixes. It can be distinguished in the Ethnova and Electro instrument sets.
- In music pattern A, a melody from "Fax Factory" can be heard. It is distinguishable in the Ethnova instrument set.
